Elham and the Elham Valley

Henbury Manor is situated on the outskirts of Elham, in the heart of the countryside yet only two kilometres from the A260 Canterbury Road from which it’s a short drive to the A2 for Canterbury or to the A20/M20 for Folkestone, Dover or London.

At Folkestone, the new high speed rail link can get you to St Pancras station in under an hour and the Channel Tunnel offers fast journey times to continental Europe.

From Ashford International Station the domestic service reaches London in 37 minutes and the Eurostar high speed train can take you to Paris in two hours! Alternatively you can travel by car to France via the nearby Eurotunnel shuttle service in just 35 minutes.

The Elham Valley is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with beautiful countryside to explore on foot or horseback. The village traders can cater for all the essentials and for anything else Canterbury, Folkestone and Ashford are nearby.

The historic cathedral city of Canterbury has an excellent shopping centre and is widely known as the cultural centre of Kent, with its magnificent cathedral, ancient buildings, theatres and cinemas.
