The Village Life

Perched on top of the North Downs at 508ft above sea level, Hawkinge provides stunning views of nearby Cheriton and Folkestone. Hawkinge is perhaps best known for the major role it played in defending our skies throughout World War II, with RAF Hawkinge being the closest operational airfield to France.
