Pentland Homes Donate to Canterbury College

Pentland Homes have donated building supplies to Canterbury College Construction department after hearing that a shortage of materials meant that practical lessons were being limited. Tim Barton Commercial Director at Pentland Homes said ‘we hope that this donation will enable students to learn and practice valuable trade skills for their future careers in the construction industry’.

Pentland Homes believe in contributing to the well-being of local communities and understand the importance of educating the future generations in construction-related skills.

The donation of spare and unusable bits of timber to the Canterbury College Construction Department was gratefully received by Daniel Sutcliffe, Skills Practitioner at Canterbury College. He said “It’s been a massive help to us as a department and we’d really like to thank Pentland Homes”

Pentland Homes would also like to say thank you to RS French who collected the timber from Pentland’s new homes developments in Canterbury, New Romney, Shadoxhurst and Hawkinge and delivered to Canterbury College.
